Secured with clutch hub nut ( which has left-hand threads btw) The clutch hub drum is prevented from turning independently of the transmission main shaft by a small "Key". WebJul 14, 2005 · Otherwise Im going to go by a 1 1/4 socket for my 3/4 drive and try that. Heat the nut up with a heat gun for a few minutes before trying to remove it to loosen the Loctite. If you are not using an impact you definitely need to lock down the pulleys using a wedge between them. You'll probably need a breaker bar too.
